Tom Honeycutt is the
Vice President for contracts. He provides seasoned leadership in
successfully managing growth organizations in support of DoD Logistics
organization, commercial clients, State and local market
sectors. He helps develop and direct BBS’
strategic objectives. He is responsible for capture strategy
development and execution, contract management and day-to-day
execution for supply chain initiatives.
He has over 30 years of experience in
Defense logistic processes as well as 12 years experience in senior
management consulting support. He is responsible for client
relationship management, team development and market development.
Mr. Honeycutt has
first-hand experience in Defense Department business process
reengineering techniques, ERP, Hazardous Material Management, Distance
Support and 3rd party logistic support. He was a
contracting officer at the Naval Air Systems Command and an
Administrative contracting officer at Defense Contract Management
Office – Chicago.
Prior to joining BBS,
Tom was a Managing Director at RGS Associates where he managed Navy
programs and was a Vice President at Serco where he led $120M in
annual revenue.
Mr. Honeycutt retired
as Commander in the Supply Corps after 23 years on active duty. He is
DAWIA level III certified. He holds a BS degree from Northern
Illinois University and an MS from Naval Postgraduate School in
Monterey California.
